Mike Blakely is a performing songwriter and novelist who lives in the Texas Hill Country. He has recorded 13 albums, the most recent being "The Outside Circle" released in 2018). He has written 19 books, the most recent a historical novel about the Mexican War of the 1840s called "A Sinister Splendor." He is currently at work on its sequel.
